The Fivaz lab at DUKE-NUS (www.fivazlab.org), has open positions for two post-doctoral fellows and two research assistants available immediately. Our lab is part of the Neuroscience and Behavioral disorder program at DUKE-NUS, which is currently the largest neuroscience department in Singapore. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who show strong passion and commitment for research. The successful candidates will work on recent mouse models the lab has generated to explore neural circuits underlying aggression/violence and memory, or implicated in psychiatric disorders (Schizophrenia) and neurodegeneration (Parkinson disease). Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in one (or more) of the following areas: rodent behavior, brain histology, electrophysiology, imaging or cell/molecular biology. Interested candidates are invited to send a cover letter describing their interest and motivation to join the lab, and at least two reference letters.

Specific requirements:

Post-doc: PhD degree in neuroscience with research experience in at least one of the following fields: brain slice physiology, imaging or animal behavior.

Research assistant: BS in life science.
